Germanstamps.net is a fantastic resource for all german stamps and include eary & wartime era stamp pages which are free to download and print and are very well annotated with text and images, there well worth visiting.
How we grade stamps:
We only use four grades when deciding on the quality of a stamp:
Firstly: Mint never hinged (MNH) if you see this on a listing it has never been used or hinged.
Secondly:Mint hinged (MH) a stamp that has been hinged.
Thirdly: Cancelled to order (CTO) These stamps were cancelled by the supplying post office for a buyer to collect, may have been hinged but we will state this if were sure it was.
Fourthly: Used (U) a stamp that has been postally sent and will probably have some minor flaws.
